A/R & Billing

Enrollment & Billing Representative III

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for billing activities and maintaining assigned accounts. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Responsible for all billing processes for assigned groups. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of the billing function. Maintains and reconciles premium bill, self-bill and individual billed accounts. Required to perform monthly accounting cycle activities, major account reconciliations, and the generation, updating distribution of department reports and summaries. Additionally, this position sometimes works closely with collectors by providing information needed to help reduce collection risks and accelerate payments. This position directly and critically impacts the bottom line through the billing and accounts receivables functions for customers within the company’s book of business. As this position involves frequent contact with customers, great emphasis is placed on conveying and implementing a superior level of service and professionalism. The candidate can impact the up-sale and retention process by establishing and maintain excellent business relationships with customers. Requires H. S. degree or GED; 3+ years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Analytical, verbal and written skills required. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel required.

Refund Investigator

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for requesting claims refunds from members and providers. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Receives refund requests, verifies accuracy, sends letters to providers/members requesting refunds. Adjusts claims to show the correct information. Answers all incoming correspondence, including accepting and placing phone calls to and from providers and members. Requires a High school diploma or equivalent; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 3+ years claims processing or customer service experience preferred.


Broker & Small Group Support Services (Gilbert, MN)

Direct Sales Agent

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for selling small group products and providing high level customer service. Ensures sales goals are met and provides thorough and effective customer service. Provides timely and accurate response to all customers. Provides customers with oral and written information as well as a detailed quote on plans and services. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of products and services. Optimizes closing opportunities utilizing all sales tools and skills available. Completes accurate documentation, maintains records and updates database documentation of all activities during the sales cycle. Ensures accurate documentation of leads and sales received from all sources. Works cooperatively and professionally with departmental and inter-departmental co-workers. Attends department meetings and training and other duties as assigned. HS diploma and two years sales experience preferred. Ability to type and excellent PC skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to work in team environment. Candidate must maintain Health Agent license.

Claims Representative Lead

POSITION SUMMARY:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Ensures that superior, professional, and courteous service is provided consistently to customers. Develops, recommends, and implements training to enhance department production, efficiency, and quality of service. Provides training to staff. Organizes and monitors daily work activities. Manages time and prioritizes activities to maximize the use of staff. Works on complex projects and represents the company internally and externally. Generates management reports and handles projects delegated by Supervisor. Requires H.S. diploma; 4 years claims experience; demonstrated leadership skills; excellent understanding of the application of processing, policies, and procedures. Excellent knowledge of claims processing, coordination of benefits, and dental terminology. Knowledge of claims and products,  or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.


Claim Receipts

DM Clerk I

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for intake and preparation of medical claims and related documents to ensure that they are ready for imaging processes. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Extracts, sorts, preps and batches paper claims. May operate camera/scanner. Routes claims and related documents within the company. Sorts, logs and routes return or postage due mail. Retrieves previous data entry claims as needed. Requires GED/HS diploma, 6 months related work experience in document management, mail handling, scanning, knowledge of general office procedures; or any combination of education and experience which will provide an equivalent background. Must possess ability to read, write and perform basic math. Requires operation of basic office equipment.

 


Credentialing

Credentialing Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible to process credentialing and re-credentialing files in accordance with Company and departmental policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations and accrediting organization standards. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Assures the confidentiality and integrity of all aspects of the credentialing program and process including communication of information regarding participating providers to Dental Directors, Credentials Committee and other internal departments, as well as database management, provider relations and contracting. May be utilized within the Credentialing Database Operations unit or the Credentialing Policy Committee unit to support the company’s entire credentialing process. Requires a high school diploma or GED plus one year of office experience in a health/dental care environment, good initiative, team work abilities, verbal and written communications skills, and PC proficiency, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.


Credentialing

Credentialing Specialist Sr

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring the integrity of credentialing data and providing expertise and guidance to other credentialing associates. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: Audits work of other credentialing associates. Compiles and reviews documentation required by credentialing committee. Responds to the most complex provider credentialing, compliance and accreditation issues. Researches pended and probated applications and resolves discrepancies. Monitors reports identifying practitioners on sanctions or those who do not meet credentialing criteria for further action and assists in researching related issues. May assist in delegation oversight and identifies on-going training needs. Assists in developing training materials. Requires a high school diploma, 4-5 years credentialing experience, knowledge of NCQA and/or URAC credentialing criteria, excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and database management software, strong oral and written communication and research/problem solving skills, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. CPCS or CMSC preferred.


Professional Services

Quality Auditor I

POSITION SUMMARY:
Examines and evaluates the accuracy of transactions in accordance with regulations and company guidelines. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Identifies documents and reports any transaction errors in a timely manner to ensure prompt resolution. Applies expert knowledge in most areas. Able to perform simple functions; works under general direction. Examines and evaluates on a prepayment basis the accuracy of transactions processed by reviewing policy, procedure and manual input in accordance with guidelines. Tracks and trends audit results, providing feedback to management. Generates monthly reports of audit findings, supports clients with issues identified, develops reports to assist management with information requested. Produces other ad hoc reports as requested by internal and external clients. Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent; 9 months to 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
